The race is ON! The utilization of drone for non-military purposes will be here sooner than we thought.
When there is anyone who is most responsible in building all of the buzz, it’ll be none other than Amazon and the gang. Using the latest holiday delivery hiccup still fresh on our mind, Jeff Bezo is probably correct in thinking that drone is probably the perfect solution to his last-mile delivery bottleneck and FAA was quick to respond to that. have already been given to a total of 20 states.
But Lakemaid Beer, a small brewery firm located in Minneapolis, went one step further. They’ve really used a drone to send their delivery orders. It made an enormous splash around the globe and gets everyone excited. FAA is quick to put out the flame of excitement. An order to ground the unmanned aircrafts was quickly released to the company. Many marketing students could clearly tell that it’s one outstanding PR stunt. But I offer my praise to Lakemaid Beer.
This really is just the tip of the iceberg and there are numerous wonderful things to come. As sky could be the limit, we will never know what the future holds until it turns into a reality.
How I wish it was my beer that the drones were carrying. I’ll leave it to your imagination for the time being!
